Another Great Week!

Another week down, weight is 381.5. The 380's will soon be gone forever!
12 hours and 33 minutes training and 8550 yds in the pool. This week is a recovery week, yay!

I am going to behave on New Year's Eve and Day and by this time next week will be in the 370s!

2008 Swimming and Workout Hours

I have no more swim workouts until New Year's Day, my total yardage for this year is 244,250. That is 138.77 miles! Three years ago I could not even walk out my door to the car, much less swim 100 yards! It will be interesting to see how many yards I do training for IM AZ! I know I will be doing a lot of open water swims this summer!

Total workout time for this year, when I am done with the next few days, will be 433 hours and 40 minutes. I think that will pale with this next year's time, which I find very exciting!

Had two bad days eating this last week, one was just emotional eating and the other was just hunger that I could not satiate. I ate clean, but kept piling it in. But I am back on track and soon I will hit that 100-pounds lost mark!

Do you ever lose count of lengths or laps when swimming? I sure do! Swimming is where I do some of my best thinking and then all of a sudden, I'm thinking "was that 20 or 22 lengths? Darn, better throw in two more!" Well I think I might get one of these.

Week 4 of Iron Training


Weight: 383.5 (only down 1.5) I guess that's not too bad considering the Christmas party Saturday night! I didn't drink any alcohol or over eat. but the food was high fat and salty. I am very pleased with how I did.

This past week:
Total workout time: 13 hours and 24 minutes with 7,850 yds in the pool.

Week 3 of Iron Training

Today's weight: 385(down 2 from last week)

End of December goal is 377. I AM GOING TO MAKE IT!
But I really want to hit the 371 mark which would be 100 pounds lost since I started training. I want it bad!!!

Had a great week!

Combo Aerobic: 1:40
Strength-2 sessions: 2:13

Total workout time: 14:20!

Tired!


Coach Pete introduced a new workout for my fat-burning pleasure today: 20 minutes rowing, 20 minutes elliptical, 20 minutes treadmill, 20 minutes bike, then 10 minutes back on the treadmill. I am whipped. I think a shower then a nice nap is in order!
