In the Doldrums

Nothing to train for, nothing on the schedule. Hmmm. Volunteering at IM AZ and focusing on weight loss but I still need events!
Maybe the Jingle Bell Tri in December, maybe a 100 mile bike ride by January (if it doesn't snow too much), something else?
Ideas anyone? And I desperately need help redesigning this blog! Anyone game?

Dude.... the money is paid. Do the swim, volunteer for something after the swim at IMAZ. Then you have 1/3 of the IM done (not quite time wise, but event wise you do).
I'm just saying....
There is a great running series in Denver during the winter months. It is called the Winter Distance series and you can find information about it at Colorado Runner. I did it last year and had a great time!
Didn't they announce a 70.3 in Boulder? You need to be tougher on yourself than anybody else around you...
you just keep that fire burning Duane. This is a PAUSE, not a full stop. I like Onehourironman's idea. DON"T YOU STOP.
Don't stop, find an event, any event. Something you have not done before. Fine one a month until the race in December.
:-)
I like the century ride idea!
But friggin brrrrr in Colo in January.

Come to AZ in February, and we'll do one!
You can stay for a long weekend
